Having in mind the flatplan I created for my double spread, the inspirations of different magazines, the final effect I wanted to result, as well as essential feedback from previous media students, a lot of modifications had been made and are noticeable below.

Final

The final result has been like I expected.

The idea here was a photographer being inspired by the lyrics of a song. It concern a more personal perspective of the artist on his vision on the song that is reflected through the pictures.

I wanted to denote this personal approach in the form of a dairy, which lead me to use handwriting font on the right page and a pen draft vector on the left. I furthermore wished to create the feeling of entering in his universe.

I wanted to make the first page of the article really simple in contrast of the other pages which have a more elaborated design layout.

I placed a close up image of the model to create a powerful effect on the viewers. The eyes contact, her hair in the wind covering her face and the red shadow were the best composition to intricate. It also correlates with the title "Misconceiving" and even matches with the cover.

I included a short introduction, as I planned it during the creation of my flat-plans. It is essential to explain the concept to my audience for them to understand and enjoy better the article according to their personal tastes.

The sentence is is written with a simple non-serif font and slightly in italic to maintain a refined style.

Adding the credits in the first page of the editorial is a conventional characteristic from fashion and art magazines I wanted to follow.

It enable the workers to get recognition and even reveal new artists for the readers. Even if the make-up and styling had been directed and decided by me, I wanted to add the names of my friends who helps me for the photo-shoot and in order to follow the magazine's aim of uncovering artists.

For the right page, it was challenging to choose the most suited font and size of the lyrics. But I according to the effect I wanted to make, this one seems more sketching and realistic.

For the size, as well as the spacemen between the sentences, I have tried different options and judge the final result satisfactory which express more a "personal" touch from the artist.
